Dear Poornika,
It's funny how some people slowly become important to you.
There isn't a single moment I can point to and say, "that's when it happened." Instead, somewhere between all the time we spent mindlessly speaking on call oor text, the disappearing and reappearing, you quietly became one of my favorite people.
Sometimes it feels as though we've been moving through the same story from different pages. Living parallel lives, finding ourselves in familiar places, sharing similar experiences, yet somehow never quite crossing paths. And still, when I look back, it's hard not to feel as though some invisible thread had been quietly connecting our journeys all along.
It's a strange feeling, but a comforting one. Like certain people are simply meant to leave a mark on your soul. Just because they become part of the landscape of your life. And I'm grateful to have you in mine :))
I don't know what the future holds for us. But I do know that meeting you has always felt significant in a way that's difficult to put into words.
And perhaps that's why, whenever I think of you, there's a feeling of coming home to something familiar.
I wish you the happiest birthday :)
Always,
Sandeep
